Toolarmy Toolbar Firefox Extension --------------------------------------- Ok, the first version is available. It's relatively light on features at the moment, but still makes navigation around Toolarmy much easier than they are at the moment. Be warned the extension is very much in Beta stage, and although it seems to work fine on my version of Firefox (1.0.4), I make no guarantees that it will work on yours. Having said that I also can't see any reasons at the moment why it wouldn't.... To install the extension: 1. Download the file at http://www.speleorovers.org/fourtheye/tabar.xpi 2. Open the file with Firefox and install it. 3. log into Toolarmy and enjoy. If you want to modify the boards and profiles stored, you'll need to edit a file in the extension directory called toolarmy.xml. The file (in my opinion) is pretty easy to follow so it shouldn't be too hard to make modifications. For those unfamiliar with the file structure of Firefox, this toolarmy.xml file will sit inside you profile directory, usually something like "C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\". Don't ask me about Linux/Mac. Under this directory you'll find a "extensions" directory, and then a directory named "{83E968AE-7C80-473a-8FF2-1911E68C89D6}". The toolarmy.xml should be inside there. NOTE: Looks like the automatic Updates of the extension don't quite work at the moment, so don't get too worried if you get an error while updating your extensions. I'll get around to fixing it soon.
