I'm sure all of you game lovers out there are aware of the upcoming Xbox 360 launch this November (everywhere except Australia that is), and are all wondering what games you can expect to play on that sunny day when you rush down to your local game emporium and pick it up. We the word is only 5 games will be available: NBA 2K6, NHL 2K6, Amped 3, Top Spin 2, and College Hoops 2K6.
Maybe I'm missing something here, but why the hell would you release a new console with only this collection of games available on day 1. None of those five games excite me even in the slightest, and there's no way I'd buy an Xbox 360 to play old games and watch DVD's on.
I guess that one good thing about having a late launch here in Oz is that there might actually be some decent games released by the time we get it!

Um.... i herd that you cant play old xbox games on the new one.... so that just makes it 20 times stupider...
and they are putting halo 3 on the xbox360.... so i have to buy one of those shitbox's to see what happends to the storyline

I work for Microsoft, xbox live support ( 1-800-4myshitbox ). This past week half the call center quit or was fired. Why? 14,000 calls per day over my shitbox 360 freezing, scratching discs, power adapter failures, etc.... you name it , it breaks... there are two plants in China producing these shitboxes ( xboxscene if you want more details ). They have different BIOS chips on the boards, and other differences... and they fucking RUSHED them and slapped them together. There is definitely a 40% failure rate on these shitboxes... every fucking call i have had for the past week was for a fucked shitbox 360. MS is trying its goddamed hardest to cover it up, but they fucked up this launch very , very badly.
You can all kiss my ass, i am so fucking sick and tired of hearing "I waited 24 hours freezing my balls off to buy my shitbox and now its broker " , well fucking blame MS for this, not the poor asshole ( me ) paid minimum wage on the phones ( only job i can get, and quitting very soon ) to listen to your fucking bitching for a problem MS is responsible for but isolate from, cuz they dont have to answer to the public for this. If only you spend one day in my shoes you would realize how fucked and widespread this problem is, and the MS assholes tell us nothing, they tell us to lie to the public, "it is isolated and very few units are affected". So why then is our call center fucking swamped with calls over 360 freezing, and every coworker is swamped with steady "warranty exchange on console" tickets??? hmm go fucking figure ......
blame MS , they caused this, they should pay... they should recall... a class action is more than justified...
