This is a pretty old article, which I'm sure most of you have seen before, but I know there's plenty of younger people who read this site, and really don't understand how the music industry works.

For those who don't know, Albini is the guitar player for the band Shellac, and is also a engineer who has recorded many bands such as Nirvana and The Jesus Lizard.
