While working, we're often blessed with having the radio turned on, usually to on of the many generic FM statios around the place.
In the last couple of weeks though, we've been tuned into an AM station, that amongst other things, features John Laws in the morning. Eventually we got sick of that station, so we changed the channel back to FM to catch a glimpse of whats currently happening in the world of commercial music.
Now the music itself, is something that I'm personally not into, but that's not what I'm going to whinge about, I'm winging about the really bad jokes repeated again and again on the air.
We've probably heard the same sketch from Jerry Sienfeld, Ray Romano, or whoever, about 4 times a day. They're not really that funny the first time, but by the forth you're ready to pick up the radio, slam it against the wall, and mail the remaining pieces to the managers at Austereo with a death threat written in blood.
You'd think it was enough having to put up with endless Avril Lavinge and Matchbox 20 songs all day!!!
