Not much has happened lately to inspire me into writing something.

I've resumed work on a project of mine, a PHP-MySQL site which will allow users to log in and keep records of their caving activities, and eventually, hiking, climbing and canyoning activities, plus possibly other activities in the future.

I've decided to re write parts of the version I currently have. Since my PHP skill have improved considerably since I started the project, it has become obvious to me that the code is pretty untidy, and I could definitely benefit from some functions and classes to cope with some of the more generic stuff. Hopefully this change shouldn't take too long to do, since it's really only a matter of encapsulating existing code in functions,etc. and I'd hope to have a version of the site up and running in a month or two.
